Cultural activities of Iranian cinema and serials in Bangladesh

Abstract

Cinema is a medium where expressed a nation's developments, considerable influence and culture. There are lots of countries in the world who are benefiting considerably, nationally and internationally through the use of their film arenas today. Cinema is called a combination of seven arts. Cinema strengthens almost all types of artistic work such as painting, music, literature, history, culture, art, ancient traditions and relationships.
Iran, after its Islamic Revolution, has been able to use all of the above features very nicely and in a completely pure and humble manner; and that is why Iranian cinema has gained a global dimension.
The first Iranian film was dubbed in Bengali in Bangladesh in the 90's. Since then, various televisions, newspapers, Iranian culture in Dhaka and various international film festivals have played an outstanding role in the development of Iranian films in the country. The people of Bangladesh are accepting it with great enthusiasm and even studying Iranian movies in different universities of the country is not very big in the movie industry of Bangladesh. Most of the people here are Muslims and the Iranian cinema market is also very popular here; because people like to watch Iranian movies enough. When people enjoy Iranian movies and television serials, noticing its simple stories and subtle emotional issues, they actually want to see their real life images on the screen.
Therefore, the purpose of the author of this article is to firstly collect various data and analyze them to show how passionate the people of Bangladesh are towards Iranian films and television serials and how much influence they have.
