Abstract

Abstract

The “ Basat Busi “ ceremony have been more important in the Eastern Lands that held with special customs.

After the arrival of Islam in the country, these celebrations were held as a combination of the religious and native customs.

The Timurid era was one of the brilliant periods of ceremonies and celebrations in during history, so that they held frequent and intermittent celebrations in the year.

These ceremony have been different goals that Emir Timur considered

The most important of them, were showing the authority and glory of Emir Timur Government, support religious scholars, the cohesion and unity the army in wars, because of most her troops formed of different tribes and nations, maintaining Moralities in the society.

The Basat Busi ceremony were divided into different types, the most important of which were family court, the common people, local leader , scholars and reception and ambassadors.

In this article, an attempt of methods and goals of holding the Basat Busi ceremony that analysis and explore is done.
