Abstract

This article provides a brief introduction to Mahmoud Mahmoud’s eight-volume work, The History of Anglo-Iranian Political Relations in the Nineteenth Century, considered a landmark study in Iranian foreign relations. Composed during the final years of the Second World War, this significant research aimed to furnish Iranian political actors and academics with a detailed and analytical understanding of the political history of Iran and Great Britain.
