In this editorial, the editor-in-chief underscores the dialectical relationship and intrinsic interconnection between Iranian Studies and Islamic Studies, challenging the fallacy of construing these disciplines as a rigidly binary opposition. The editorial concludes by outlining the Journal’s new Series: adopting a book-centered approach dedicated to critical review and introduction of pertinent scholarship—published both domestically and internationally—within these fields. This mandate will be supplemented by scholarly reports on selected conferences and commemorative events.
