The present issue features a selection of articles originally compiled as a catalog for attendees of the “One Hundred Enduring Books of the Century” lecture series. Organized by the Office of the President of the National Library and Archives of Iran, this series brings together distinguished scholars to introduce and discuss notable works published over the past century. Fortunately, the program has been warmly received within the cultural community. A brief report on the lectures has been made available through the organization’s website, and a detailed account of one of these lecture series is presented in this issue for the benefit of our readers.
