Abstract
This short article introduces the principal themes of An Introduction to the Study of Historical Documents and discusses its methodological importance. The author maintains that, despite having been published over fifty years, the work retains its scholarly value and utility. Furthermore, it is argued that no subsequent Persian-language publication has yet matched its comprehensive scope and methodological rigor in the field of documentary analysis.
