Abstract

The article examines the scholarly profile of Jorjāni, the historical context of the composition of Zakhirah-i Khwārazmshāhi, and its significance for both medical science and Persian prose. It further analyzes the history of the text’s critical editing and publication during the fourteenth century of the Solar Hijri calendar, evaluating diverse editorial approaches ranging from philological-textual criticism to practitioner-oriented editions and facsimile reproductions.
