The fortieth session in the One Hundred Best Books of the Century series, convened by the National Library of Iran, brought together a notable assembly of cultural figures, leading experts, and distinguished bibliographers. The session focused on the late Khānbābā Moshār, widely recognized as the father of modern Iranian bibliography.
Presentations by Dr. Sadeqzadeh Vayqan, Majid Jaliseh, and Hojjat al-Islam Abolfazl Hafezian Baboli examined his indispensable work, A Bibliography of Printed Persian Books, which has been selected as one of the century’s best publications. The lectures highlighted the foundational role of this bibliography within Iranian scholarship.
