During the era of Naser al-Din Shah, some of Iran's ancient customs and traditions got a new life, and the king's attention to these matters made them flourish among the elders and the people. In addition, in this era, the traditions of Iran were integrated with the new sciences that had entered through the Western world, and changes followed. After the Nasser period, some of these revived traditions, which originated from Iranian culture and history, faded again. Recreation and spending leisure time, which has been a part of the culture of governments and people in the history of Iran, continued in this period as well. Naser al-Din Shah and the nobles of his court spent their free time with things like hunting and riding and watching wrestling matches between wrestlers, which was also common among the people of that time.In addition to the cultural aspects and functions of sports in the form of recreation and physical fitness for living, a more important type of sports, especially wrestling (wrestling), was an important component and platform for the general culture of Iranians in the Qajar era. Pahlavi customs and traditions were a part of Iran's culture from the distant past until the Nasrid era, which has played an effective role in the field of society's culture, such as: morality, spreading religious beliefs, respect for elders, respect for elders, and chivalry in the society. After the era of Naser al-Din Shah until the constitutional revolution, wrestling was still popular, although it was not as prosperous as before. This research is based on this question, how was the interaction of wrestling with the culture of the Qajar era (based on the Nasrid period until the constitutional revolution)? The result of the research shows that wrestling sports in the era of Naser al-Din Shah and until the constitutional revolution, despite some obstacles, received more attention and emphasis both in the form of government attention and public prosperity. The Shah's interest in wrestling caused the elders, nobles and people to pay attention to this matter as well as the Shah. In the public and social dimension, sports were popularized in different ways. All these cases made sports more connected and strengthened with the general culture of Iranians.
