The educational system of the princes of the Safavid era has gone through two distinct stages, the Lalei tradition and the harem and eunuch tradition. In the first stage, the princes were educated in the environment outside the court under the supervision of their tutors, and under the supervision of eunuchs, in the harem custom, in the enclosed environment of the palace and royal harem. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages from the eyes of the Safavid court and foreign tourists and Safavid scholars. In this article, the education and training system of Safavid princes in two stages of Lalagi and Haremsarai, the causes and motivations of this change and the harms of both stages have been examined and explained in a library method and a descriptive-analytical method. The findings of the research show that in Lalagi education, the princes had higher training and skill in martial and physical education and military training than in harem education; However, the Lalagi system had a favorable ground for the rebellion of Lalahs and the princes under their training, and the custom of the harem also led to the deprivation of the practical training of the princes and their ignorance of the way of statecraft and inefficiency in military affairs.
