The importance of the land of Yemen and its developments in the Islamic world has led to more research and studies by contemporary researchers on this issue than in the past. One of the most important topics studied in Yemen is the typology of Shiite movements in the third and fourth centuries of the Hijri in this geographical area because these movements had important impacts throughout history on all Islamic regions. Therefore, studying and studying the nature and characteristics of Shiite socio-political movements in Yemen is of particular importance, and the third and fourth centuries of the Hijri are the culmination of these studies and research because the beginning of the activities of these movements took shape during this period. The main question of this article is also in this direction: what is the nature and characteristics of Shiite socio-political movements in Yemen in the third and fourth centuries of the Hijri?
An attempt has been made to study the typology and express the nature and characteristics of Shiite socio-political movements in Yemen using an understanding and interpretation method, citing previous sources and new research, and benefiting from the points of sociologists such as Giddens, Giroche, and Tilly.
