The Sabaean or Sabean religion is one of the oldest celestial religions. This religion is considered an objective historical phenomenon of the present era and a historical reality. The Sabaean religion has been introduced in ancient and modern historical texts with varying degrees of relativity of historical truth, and in countless cases, an unrealistic reflection of this religion can be observed in historical texts. This is mostly influenced by the extra-religious perspective of early writers, which led to superficial and sometimes contrary perceptions of this religion being portrayed. Contemporary writers also repeated the narratives of early sources without modifying or modifying them and in a narrative-anecdotal manner. This research seeks to introduce the Sabaean religion from an internal perspective. In this regard, an attempt was made to investigate the historical truth of this heavenly religion of man, relying on the oral tradition of the Sabians, the sacred texts of the Sabians, the monthly Beit Manda, and the written sources of Sabian researchers, and to provide a reasoned answer to the question of what is the historical truth and nature of the Sabian religion as a heavenly religion. This research was written with a historical approach and based on the descriptive-analytical method. The results of this research show that examining the Sabian religion from an intra-religious perspective and comparing it with previous historical texts indicate the fact that the historical truth of the Sabian religion has been expressed superficially in most historiographical texts and sometimes contrary to historical reality and needs scientific reconstruction. As a result, this research has succeeded in correcting a significant part of these historical narratives by introducing the true nature of the Sabian religion.
