Benchmark: Attended by a distinguished gathering of scholars and cultural figures, the ceremony opened with a tribute honoring the scholarly contributions of the late Mahmoud Hakimi, one of the most influential researchers in the fields of Islamic history, Persian literature, and children’s and young adult fiction. The event celebrated his enduring intellectual legacy and his profound impact on historical writing and literary education for younger generations. The ceremony was followed by the unveiling of The Hymn of Liberation (Sorud-e Rahāyi), a volume based on the engaging and insightful conversations between Dr. Gholamreza Amirkhani and the late Professor Hakimi. The session was chaired by Mahdi Kamous, one of Hakimi’s former students. Subsequently, the following speakers reflected on various dimensions of Hakimi’s scholarly life, intellectual legacy, and lasting contributions: Hojjat al-Islam Mir Abolfath Davati, Dr. Ilyas Kalantari, Hojjat al-Islam Biazar Shirazi, Dr. Gholamreza Amirkhani, Hojjat al-Islam Farajollahi, Ali Bahramian, Mohsen Kazemi, Ahmad Masjed-Jamei, and Mohammad Hakimi, the late scholar’s son. Together, they offered a multifaceted appraisal of his academic achievements and the enduring significance of the works he left behind.
